Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a platform that can be used as a content management system (CMS), a cloud-based service, and a digital asset management (DAM) system. With integrations with the Adobe Experience Cloud, AEM allows users to deal with the complexity of content management. An AEM developer helps you provide an omnichannel and personalized experience to the users by building a platform based on your needs.

Min requirements to the candidate
Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Postgres, Test Containers
  • Must currently or most recently worked in and served in AEM Development role and capacity, involved in the integration of AEM.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ of direct hands-on experience working with AEM 6.x web content management systems
  • Minimum of 3 years' of demonstrated experience in the development, integration, implementation and deployment of AEM foundational concepts and components
  • Must possess a solid understanding with demonstrated experience using all of Adobe AEM building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., as well as the AEM development and deployment processes.
  • Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager related technologies: OSGi, Java Content Repository, Apache Sling, HTL
  • 2+ years of J2EE development experience required
  • Good understanding of web-application development: HTTP protocol, experience in REST based web services, Servlets, web-performance best practices, session management
  • Version control: Git
  • Build frameworks: Maven
Nice to have requirements to the candidate
As an AEM developer, you design, develop, and test software that uses Adobe Experience Manager. AEM is a content management system part of the Adobe Marketing Cloud. It can be used alone to manage a company's data or in conjunction with other Adobe products, including Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Media Optimizer, and Adobe Audience Manager.
In this role, you may:
1. integrate AEM with a website or existing application,
2. test each build to evaluate its performance
3. enhance existing systems
4. help debug faulty code.
The developer will be interacting with the apple client programmers while helping create software that meets apple client's needs.
AEM developers often use responsive frameworks, agile methodologies, and front-end development techniques like customized templates and JCR queries to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
