Global Mobility Coordinator (US immigration)

Responsibilities:
- Partner with Global Mobility Manager to develop and improve programs, policies and administration of the mobility process to meet the company’s business needs
- Coordinate process of obtaining work visas for the relocation and assignments abroad from start to finish (e.g. collect visa applicant's paperwork; answer employees questions; draft visa application
documents) - Provide support with relocations to GD locations worldwide
- Provide Mobility-related expertise to local office talent acquisition team, HR Partners, HR team members
- Act as a resource to develop a high level of customer service and a support model
- Train local office staff on Global Mobility policies and procedures
- Maintain internal systems (e.g., Jira, Wiki) to ensure policies and procedures are kept current
- Monitor additional aspects of the Global Mobility program to identify opportunities for improvement
Additional Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a high level of quality work, attendance, and appearance
- Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department
- Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary
- Ability and willingness to attend calls to accommodate different time zones
Qualifications:
- Excellent command of English language
- Mandatory experience in US visa processes (L1A/L1B visa, B1/B2 visa, L extension)
Skills:
- Attention to details
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication including tact and diplomacy
- Ability to work productively both independently and as an integral member of various teams
- Ability to perform multiple complex tasks
- Good reporting skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Experience in Travel, HR, Customer Service or Administrative role is preferred but not mandatory
