Senior Software Developer in Test

Our customer is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California. On this project we are working on the bleeding-edge of Big Data technology to provide analytics on the audience and quality of advertising campaigns. 

Responsibilities:

• Automate testing of complex ETL process

• Automate testing of In Stream Processing solutions

• Perform robustness testing

• Prepare datasets for testing

• Analyze business/technical requirements

• Work closely with developers on the testing framework

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Java programming skill
• Experienced  with TestNG, JUnit5
• Experienced with offline and online data and services pipelines.
• Spring Boot & Build/Gradle working experience.
• Understanding the pipeline processes/steps; able to read the current pipeline code, then coming up a solution for automation testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of *nix
• At least theoretical knowledge of Hadoop tech stack
• Bash scripting
• Analytical mindset
• Intermediate level of English
• 5+ years as a QA Engineer, DevOps or Developer

Would be a plus [optional field]:

• Knowledge of scripting languages Python

• Practical experience with Spark, Hadoop and Hive etc Big Data skills 

• Experience with Spark, AWS tech, Airflow
