We are seeking a strong Site Reliability Engineer with good technical expertise. Our client is the world's largest American retail chain sells supplying tools, construction products, and services with over 90 distribution centers throughout the United States to serve over 2,000 stores. As of 2020, this company is ranked in the Fortune 500 rankings of the largest United States corporations by total revenue.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding and support of microservice-based applications: starting with developing CI/CD, deployment of the apps into production, setting up performance monitoring and testing, chaos testing, helping other teams with their requests.

  • Answering quiestions, support other teams;
  • Advanced Jenkins'
  • Automated Performance Testing: k6.Io;
  • Automated Chaos Testing https://litmuschaos.io/;
  • Distributed Tracing.

Details on tech stack:
  • Google Cloud Platform;
  • Docker, GKE;
  • Jenkins;
  • Terraform, Ansible;
  • Testing with K6.io, litmuschaos.io;
  • Monitoring with Prometheus.

Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Linux & networks;
  • Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes;
  • Experience with Jenkins.
