Location Leader (Senior Delivery Manager)

Grid Dynamics is looking for a Location Leader (Senior Delivery Manager) that will be responsible for the success of the Serbian location of the company as well as some of the global delivery programs. If you have a passion for making teams successful, hands-on experience with delivering enterprise solutions, and a proven track record of building strong and sustainable processes, then you are the kind of person we are looking for.

Responsibilities:

• Growth and development of the Serbian location of Grid Dynamics
• Location program management based on current priorities
• Full P&L responsibility
• Defining and implementing training and knowledge-sharing programs for the local management team
• Building strong corporate culture
• Internal and external branding with the support of the local team
• Strengthening and expanding the team by finding and attracting talent from the market and developing internal team members
• Managing globally distributed engineering and project teams 
• Setting up, maintaining, and improving reliable delivery processes in accordance with industry best practices and corporate PMO standards
• Delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to client expectations

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the software engineering industry with at least 5 years in leadership or management
• Experience in managing big teams (100+ ppl)
• Excellent leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills
• Financial acumen
• Proven track record of creating and managing big globally distributed delivery teams
• Excellent understanding and practical experience with modern project management methodologies and software engineering processes
• Great knowledge of the Serbian market and a strong local network
• Track record of attracting and retaining top talent
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English
