Scrum Master

We are seeking a Scrum Master for one of our projects. The client facilitates digital payments across more than 200 countries and territories among a global set of consumers, merchants, financial institutions, businesses, strategic partners and government entities through innovative technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage complex software projects across multiple organizations.
• Rationalize conflicting priorities across teams to identify an agreed-upon delivery plan.
• Manage project trade-outs when priorities are not aligned with requested delivery targets.
• Ensure project artifacts are completed, approved, and stored as appropriate.
• Work with Product Owners and Architects to ensure requirements are complete and ready for execution and delivery with no major open questions.
• Manage project change requests initiated by the business or technology teams.
• Ensure all components align with the release schedules for each delivery team, and that dependencies between teams are managed based on their release schedules.
• Actively identify, communicate, and mitigate project issues and risks.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate project management and security management protocols.
• Support the Program Manager to ensure program goals are met.
• Act as an escalation point for project team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills to:

1) align people with different priorities on an agreed upon project schedule,

2) manage brainstorming sessions,

3) manage cross-team delivery issues

• Experience managing highly complex cross-functional software development projects
• Experience managing software development projects using mainframe and open systems technology.
• Experience managing infrastructure implementation projects as an aspect of software delivery.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
