We are looking for a teammate to lead and support HR activities in our UK office. You will be a sole HR generalist, working with the support of a local UK-based HR administrator and in collaboration with the centralized centers of expertise in the HR function, located worldwide.

You will report to the Senior HR Director of the Group. You will work closely with the General Manager of the UK.

You will help to further integrate the UK office into a larger Grid Dynamics organization.

You may progress your career in the future as an HR BP depending on the location growth and your performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, and arranging for the signing of the job offers, employment and services contracts and changes thereto, termination notices, etc.
  • Documents storing;
  • Policies drafting, update, and communication to the employees,
  • Administration of pension (re-)enrollment;
  • Arranging for medical insurance for newcomers;
  • Onboarding and offboarding activities for the employees;
  • Supervision of HR administrator on HRIS administration and absence management;
  • Payroll administration - preparation of payroll inputs for the payroll provider, checking the payroll reports, working on the payroll provider’s online platform, answering employees’ questions related to payroll;
  • Managing communication and cooperation with external services providers such as legal, tax advice providers, immigration consultants, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance in employment practices and cooperation with contractors;
  • Manage HR processes in line with the Grid Dynamics existing approaches and policies: promotion, compensation review, performance management, etc. ;
  • Act as a cultural bridge between the UK based staff and the larger organization based in Europe;
  • Cooperate closely with the local general manager on identifying the gaps, needs, and priorities of the business from an HR perspective;
  • Handling grievances, disciplinary hearings, and terminations, if required - with the support of the local legal advisors;
  • Other HR activities, as might be required from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Eagerness to work within a growing organization
  • Passion to organize and structure HR processes and procedures
  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Good understanding of the UK employment framework and practices
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration
