Mobile AQA Engineer

Join our team as a Mobile Automation Engineer, where you'll play a role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile applications on iOS or Android using the Appium framework. Collaborating closely with our development and QA teams, you'll ensure the reliability and performance of our mobile applications, contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our users.

Essential functions

Develop and execute automated test scripts in Java using the Appium framework for iOS or Android.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios, cases, and acceptance criteria.
Identify and report bugs, working with developers to resolve issues.
Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Stay updated on industry trends and tools in mobile test automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of proven experience in mobile test automation using Java and Appium for iOS or Android.
Proficiency with TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber for test case and scenario creation.
Experience using Maven for project and dependency management.
Knowledge of Docker for containerization of development and testing environments.
Proficient in Git for version control.
Strong understanding of mobile app development and testing methodologies.
Solid Java programming skills and understanding of OOP principles.

Would be a plus

Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD and build automation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab CI.
