Senior UX/ UI Designer

North America Remote, North America Remote

We are currently seeking a UX Designer with a strong technical and creative aptitude, and proven experience managing technologies and capability development. This role will be involved from product discovery to execution work phases, help gather and organize feedback and performance metrics, design the user interface across multiple features, work w/ program and product during product transition and will serve as a thought partner to the product solution team by connecting dots and providing a comprehensive perspective across key global functions our platform serves.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, building from scratch, and always having a bias for action. They can develop solutions for challenges without an existing playbook. And they know how to partner with various partners to ultimately implement change.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

As a UX Designer, you will be required to apply agile and design thinking methodologies, along with strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills to drive and deliver solutions from discovery to release of the highest level of quality that ultimately meet the business needs. Success is defined as creating a positive working environment that delivers measured results as you partner across global business teams.

Essential functions

Fundamental elements of this work include:

  • Craft user interfaces leveraging an existing design system
  • Create design components and patterns when needed and ensure consistency throughout design files
  • Partner with design peers to translate user requirements into scalable design solutions
  • Develop prototypes to validate ideas
  • Conduct user interviews that inform user centered design artifacts
  • Plan user research, define success metrics and conduct usability studies
  • Partner with engineering team to implement new features

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • Experience (5+ years) as a UX Designer
  • Experience managing and facilitating collaboration across the globe among diverse skill sets, including designers, technologists and functional business teams
  • Ability to learn and consolidate highly complex concepts, processes and ideas, and synthesize them into materials to help communicate these ideas in a digestible and simplified manner.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, proven track record to organize, prioritize and deliver outcomes
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical audiences
  • Outstanding influencing skills with experience engaging diverse set of cross-functional partners
