DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a project of the largest credit card processor in the world.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline the software delivery process and enhance overall system efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and GIT.
  • Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, IoC operation, and other containerization technologies for managing and scaling applications in a live production environment.
  • Administer and support Kubernetes clusters, Linux, and other Unix-flavored operating systems in an enterprise Cloud infrastructure environment.
  • Monitor and optimize Cloud infrastructure and networking components to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, production support, and system performance.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of ITIL best practices and utilize tools such as BMC Remedy and Service Now for incident and change management.
Note: Regular on-call participation is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information, or related field, with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, IoC operation, Linux, and Kubernetes administration in live production environments.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud infrastructure and Cloud networking.
  • Proficiency in Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, and other relevant DevOps tools.
  • Experience with Redhat Linux, AIX, or any Unix-flavored operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Tomcat/tcServer and basic scripting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, including builds, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Basic SQL skills to support applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Enthusiasm and aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.
  • Preferred experience with ITIL, BMC Remedy, Service Now, or other ITIL frameworks.
