Account Manager in IT

Chisinau, Moldova

We are seeking a talented and driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to build and nurture strong relationships with our valued customers. By understanding their needs and goals, you will act as a trusted advisor and provide exceptional account management services.

Essential functions

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, serving as their main point of contact for all account-related matters.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities within existing accounts and work closely with the sales team to expand business and maximize revenue.
  • Conduct regular evaluation sessions with customers to understand their challenges, provide guidance, and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and deliver exceptional customer support and service.
  • Monitor and analyze key account metrics, such as customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell/cross-sell potential, to identify areas for improvement and drive account growth.
  • Conduct performance reviews and one to one sessions for assigned engineers, evaluating their progress, addressing concerns, and identifying areas for development and improvement.
  • Participate in salary negotiations and contract renewals, ensuring fair and mutually beneficial agreements for both parties.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to anticipate customer needs and provide proactive solutions.


  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Great verbal and written English skills.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the software development / staff augmentation .
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Good problem-solving and negotiation abilities, coupled with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage account activities and track customer interactions.
