Director, Customer Success

Our new Director, Customer Success will be a strategic member of Grid Dynamics’ growing team. The ideal candidate is an outstanding relationship manager, with a solid understanding of modern technology for building high-value platform solutions on the enterprise scale. Your primary focus will be managing sales and delivery teams for selling and providing top-notch software engineering and consulting services to the world’s leading customers in retail, finance, and technology industries.

Essential functions

  • Manage large multi-million dollar relationships as a portfolio of accounts for a defined territory
  • Meet revenue and profitability targets assigned for the territory
  • Achieving and sustaining high client satisfaction
  • Manage the territory-dedicated sales teams to grow the portfolio of the accounts, as well as develop new revenue streams within assigned accounts
  • Manage delivery team, ensuring that a reliable delivery process is in place in accordance with industry best practices and corporate standards
  • Ensuring transparency of the managed business by regularly and accurately reporting status to the executives’ team
  • Establishing efficient communication channels between Grid Dynamics teams and client organizations
  • Draw on internal technical expertise in support of pre-sales efforts
  • Assist in hiring & developing onshore delivery management, analysis, administrative and senior technical staff

Qualifications

Position requires excellent leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills. The innovation aspect of Grid Dynamics demands extensive practical knowledge of efficient software engineering processes combined with an ability to adapt and learn quickly. Specific qualifications for the position include:

  • Technical background in the software engineering industry with at least 5 years in account management and business development roles
  • Proven track record of creating and managing big globally distributed delivery teams
  • Track record of interacting and building the relationship with VP level client contacts
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Excellent understanding and practical experience with modern project management methodologies and software engineering processes
  • Fluent Spanish is a must
  • Excellent communication skills
