DevOps/SRE Engineer

Grid Dynamics (NASDAQ: GDYN) is looking for a strong DevOps/SRE Engineer, with good technical expertise, to be responsible for monitoring production systems,
setting up and enhancing automation of deployment and monitoring, onboarding new systems to production.
Hard skills:
- DevOps stack (3+ years or more):
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large-scale application on on Prem and AWS
- Strong background in redefining the applications into cloud native environments.
- Deep experience in CI-CD pipeline & tools like Maven, Jenkins etc.
- Strong background in deployment management tools like Ansible, Salt, Chef & Puppet
- Monitoring (1-2 years or more): Kibana,Prometheus, Influx (tick stack), Cloud Watch,Splunk, Gray log, PagerDuty, Data Dog.
- Participate in application architecture.
Soft skills:
- Good understanding of DevOps and SRE goals in general (how to build communication in a team to achieve customer’s and developers’ values).
- Organize SRE processes (postmortem, measuring SLI, groom durability/stability backlog, documentation).
- Being able to switch between different tasks, has skills to react to the change of priorities(switch context quickly).
- Can run a webinar and explain new technologies, methods to people.
- Has experience in communication with team members from different time zones(it is not mandatory).
